Linksman LLC (“Linksman,” “we,” “us”) provides golf course management software. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact us at info@linksmansoftware.com.

Information we collect

  • Account information. When you or your course create an account, we collect information such as name, email address, phone number, and role.
  • Course and operational data. Information entered into the platform in the course of running a golf course — bookings, tee times, customer records, payment records, product and inventory data, and similar operational information.
  • Usage and technical data. Standard information such as log data, device and browser information, and how the service is used, collected to operate and improve the platform.

Phone numbers and SMS messaging

We collect phone numbers from course staff and owners for account use and for text-message (SMS) features of the platform. When you add a phone number, we verify it by sending a one-time code via SMS.

We use SMS to deliver platform features to authorized users — for example, letting staff and owners securely query their own course’s information by text. We may also use SMS for account and service-related notifications.

We do not sell your phone number, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier. You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message; reply HELP for help. Opting out of SMS does not delete your account.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the platform; to process payments; to communicate with you about your account and the service; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We use trusted third-party providers to operate the platform, including for database hosting, payment processing, SMS and email delivery, and application hosting. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own terms and privacy practices. Our current providers include Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), and Vercel (hosting).

Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and operational requirements. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at info@linksmansoftware.com. You can opt out of SMS as described above.

Children

The platform is intended for use by golf course businesses and their staff. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above.
